   What: Breast Cancer Awareness Day
   When: Friday, October 23rd

Purpose: To raise awareness of breast cancer, to honor those who have passed away from the disease, to celebrate those who have survived, and to raise money to help those who continue to fight.

How to participate: Starting next Monday, October 19th you can donate money in the PINK container in the front office. All proceeds will be sent to the American Cancer Society. If we raise more than $50.00 by Thursday, October 22nd, Mr. Smith will wear PINK hair to school on Friday!

Then, wear an ALL PINK shirt to school on Friday, October 23rd with your uniform bottoms. Please be sure to follow the casual dress code as stated in the student handbook.

Many families today have been affected by some form of cancer. This is a great opportunity to show your support and join in the fight against cancer. Participation is optional.
