A Message from the Headmaster

​

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Altamonte Christian School. ACS has a rich history in our community and has educated students since 1966. For over 55 years, our students have grown in their education and their faith. We are blessed to teach students from preschool VPK through the 12th grade. Our students are encouraged to strive for excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics, placing an emphasis on spiritual development.

At Altamonte Christian School, we desire to develop strong Christian citizens for Christ. I am very proud of our students, from the youngest VPK student to our maturing high schoolers. Many of our students began their academic careers in the ACS preschool and are now preparing for graduation and college. Our students are young leaders with Christ-like character. Our students serve our community throughout the year in many service projects to bless those in need. ACS desires to be a light to the city of Altamonte Springs through service and example.

During the 2022-2023 school year, ACS added a second location and moved the VPK preschool through 5th grades to a new campus located at 1021 Palm Springs Drive. The new campus allows for future growth and new opportunities for our lower elementary students. The students will enjoy a spacious playground, outdoor basketball, and volleyball courts, an activity building, and new classrooms with unlimited access to technology.

The middle and high school students will remain on the original campus, where students will be offering dual enrollment math, leadership, English Comp 1 & 2, sports and society, and stewardship courses through Southeastern University for our juniors and seniors. Earning college credit with a Biblical worldview perspective on the ACS campus allows students to earn credits from ACS teachers who are adjunct professors through Southeastern University. We offer a well-rounded education, including advanced placement courses in academics, opportunities in athletic competition, and fine arts programs. Students also enjoy robotics, art, library, Spanish, writing workshops, and music.

As the Headmaster of Altamonte Christian School, I am blessed to have a small part in these fantastic students’ lives as I get to know them personally and partner with their families. I enjoy the smiles and hugs of our little learners and watch our middle and high school students grow into men and women serving in their churches and all around the world. Our students are preparing for life beyond ACS, and I am filled with amazement as I watch them become the unique individuals God intended them to be.
