A Letter from the President

Welcome and thanks for your interest in Altamonte Christian School!  ACS is a dynamic community of students, teachers, and alumni who are making a difference in the world. Whether learning in the classroom, performing on the stage, competing in a sport, or serving in the community, ACS teaches students to think and understand the world around them by encouraging them to live lives of faith, character, and service.  Our students graduate prepared to succeed in the finest colleges in our country and are equipped to communicate effectively through both written and spoken word. Our desire is to free this generation to think and live well while inspiring heartfelt joy and an interest in learning.

While faith-based academics are the central focus of the ACS experience, our students take away from it much more than that. We provide a full range of athletic and fine arts opportunities, as well as daily Bible classes, weekly chapel programs, local service projects, and international leadership trips. Through these avenues, and through our faith in Jesus Christ and His standard, we seek to help develop well-rounded young men and women who think and live well.

On behalf of our educators, students, staff and the entire organization, I’d like to extend an invitation to you to visit ACS so you can experience first-hand what our school is all about. Visitors to our school often comment on the warmth and fun they sense here. ACS is a community where students feel cared about and can feel like they belong, where lifelong friendships are forged, and where friendships across grades, between faculty and students, and among families are part of our everyday experience. I hope your visit to ACS through our website informs you and inspires you to visit us in person.  Whether you schedule an appointment for a personal tour, enjoy a school play, or come cheer us on at a sporting event, we look forward to meeting you soon!

Force of the Future,

A Message from the Headmaster

I would like to welcome you to Altamonte Christian School and thank you for considering a partnership with us in providing a Christian education for your students. Altamonte Christian School has a lasting history of educating students since 1966. Through the years, we have witnessed students growing in their education and their faith in Christ. Students in the VPK program through the 12th grade are challenged to strive for excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics with an emphasis on spiritual truth.

At Altamonte Christian School, our desire is to develop students who live for Christ. It is a joy to watch our students turn into champions for Jesus. Many of our students started their academic path in the ACS Preschool and are now high school students getting ready for college. We encourage our students to become strong leaders and examples of Christ-like character. Our students serve our community throughout the year in service projects, community service opportunities, and gathering donations to bless those in need in our city.

As the headmaster at Altamonte Christian School, I believe our faculty and staff are blessed with having a small part in these amazing students' lives and getting to invest in their families. I truly believe I have the best job in the world when I am witness to the achievements of our students. It is exciting to watch students grow into young men and women serving in their churches, ministries, and in the community, making an impact for Christ. Our students are preparing for life beyond ACS, and they make us proud as we watch them strive to be Christ-like citizens and Christian leaders.

Thank you for considering ACS for your child's future!

Serving ACS students and families,

Dr. Pamela Piorkowski
